Privacy Policy

Your data stays with you

Last updated 2 June 2026

2048 Cupcakes is built to respect your privacy. There are no accounts to create, and the game does not collect, send, or store any personal information on a server. Everything happens in your browser.

What we store, and where

Your game progress, scores, leaderboard entries, achievements, and preferences (such as dark mode and whether tile numbers are shown) are saved using your browser's local storage. This data lives only on your device — we never receive it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it permanently.

No analytics or tracking

We don't use analytics, advertising, cookies for tracking, or any third-party trackers. The game makes no network requests to send your activity anywhere.

Third parties

The site is served as static files by a web host, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations, as is typical for any website. We don't combine that with anything you do in the game.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and, because it collects no personal information, it does not knowingly gather data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
