A sweeter 2048!

Who we are

We're a small, independent team that loves well-crafted little games. 2048 Cupcakes started as a labour of love — a fresh, tasty spin on a puzzle we couldn't stop playing. There's no big company behind it, no ads, and no accounts: just a game we wanted to make as polished and pleasant as possible.

The game

2048 Cupcakes is a cupcake-themed take on the classic sliding-tile puzzle, focused on feel: smooth animations, dark mode, undo, a daily challenge, achievements, and a shareable score card — all running instantly with your progress saved on your device.

Built with

Astro, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS — a fast static site with a tiny, framework-free game engine.

Roadmap

A global online leaderboard is planned, so you'll be able to compete beyond your own device. Today, scores and the daily challenge are tracked locally.

Credits

The 2048 game concept was created by Gabriele Cirulli (MIT licensed). This is an independent project and is not affiliated with other 2048 variants.
